Iowa Creating Account(s) and Registration
This training article is for Iowa registrations only. There may be different registration requirements for different states. Follow these steps to successfully register with GovEase. The registration will show if there are limits to accounts created for an auction. Please be advised that Polk County will be conducting an Adjourned sale, which involves the re-offering of unsold parcels. Following the conclusion of the initial sale, you will receive an email regarding the upcoming sale dates. Please click on the bell notification located at the top right corner of your account after signing in to receive updates regarding additional Iowa County Sales.

1. Visit Govease.com
2. Click Sign Up/Log In at the top right
3. Click Sign Up
4. Complete all fields that apply to you.
5. Next, go to Auctions and then select the Iowa county you are interested in.
6. Next, click on My Bidders.
7. If you need to add subbidder accounts, you can either click Add Bidder or Upload Bidders
8. All accounts will have to have a different EIN or SSN. You can't have duplicate SSNs or EINs for your accounts.
9. Accounts under My Bidders are not tied to a specific county, these can be used across multiple Iowa counties.
10. Next, bidders will need to actually register for a specific Iowa county. Click Register/Add Auctions under My Account
11. Next, bidders will need to Designate Bidder Accounts. This is where you designate which bidder accounts you want to use for that specific county for bidding. This will need to be done first.
12. Next, bidders will need to electronically sign or upload and documents that pertain to those accounts.
13. Next, bidders will need to type in their requested approval amount. This will be a total spending limit across all designated accounts. This is not an amount for each account but is a total spending limit across all accounts.
14. Next, bidders will need to pay the bidder registration fee for each designated bidder account.
15. Next, GovEase will review your account and if everything is correct, approve your accounts. Please allow up to 24 - 48 hrs for approval.
