Mississippi Creating an Account and Registration

This training article is for Mississippi registrations only. There may be different registration requirements for different states. Follow these steps to create an account and register with GovEase successfully. If you already have an account with GovEase, there is no need to create another account. However, you will have to separately complete all the registration documents for each county you wish to participate in.

After registration, you will need to contact the county in which you want to bid to set up payment arrangements and verify how much you want to be approved for. This only applies to counties where GovEase is NOT handling payments.

2023 Registration Updates:

Please note, GovEase is handling payments for some counties and as such, the registration process is different for those counties. Click here for a list of counties that GovEase is handling the payments for (will be updated closer to the date of sale for 2023 sales).

If GovEase is handling the payments for a county, do not contact the county for approval. Do not submit a blank check to the tax collector's office or to GovEase. No payment arrangements need to be made prior to the sale. All payments will be made after the sale has concluded and no payments should be issued to the county directly. Please review the GovEase Payment Instructions form for more information.

In order to complete the online registration for counties GovEase is handling payments for, bidders will be required to submit a deposit for 10% of the total amount they want to be approved to spend in the auction and to electronically sign any forms listed on the registration page. Bidders will also be required to submit a requested approval amount on the registration page.

For all other counties, registration will be the same as in previous years.
